Getting-started checklist
Run through this in order. Once every box is ticked you're ready to take real orders.
1. Profile & opening hours
Open Settings → Profile and enter:
- Restaurant name, phone, address, currency
- Time zone
- Opening hours per weekday + any special days (Midsummer Eve, Christmas, etc.)
2. Menu
Pick one path:
- Type it in — Menu → Categories, then add products.
- Import — Open Import in the sidebar; upload a CSV or photo, the AI menu writer converts it.
- Copy a template — Pick a cuisine template; ships with starter categories.
For each item, set: name, price, description (≥30 chars helps SEO), image, allergens, dietary tags.
3. Payments
Connect Stripe under Billing → Payment methods. See Stripe Connect onboarding. Until Stripe is connected, your storefront only offers Cash on Delivery / At Pickup.
4. Staff & roles
Add team members under Operations → Staff & Permissions. Owners can do everything; Managers can take orders + edit menus; Kitchen sees only order tickets; Waiters can take orders only. See RBAC overview (coming soon).
5. Marketing
Three quick wins:
- Google Business sync — Settings → Google Business → Connect. Reviews + hours go both ways.
- Email collection — Settings → Email marketing → enable the checkout opt-in.
- First offer — Promotions → New offer → 10% off first order, code
WELCOME10. See Offers & campaigns.
6. QR menus + table pay
Print a QR menu for every table (Operations → QR Generator). Set up table-side QR pay if you want customers to settle from their phone.
7. Launch
Open Website → Publish and toggle "Published". The site is live. Open the public URL and place a test order to confirm the full pipeline.

- No. Profile + menu + Stripe are the only hard requirements. Marketing, QR, and refined branding can come after launch.
