Equipment registry

The oven dies on a Friday night. The manual is one scan away.

Register your ovens, fridges, dishwashers and tills once, then print a QR label for each and stick it on. When something acts up, your staff scan the label — and the manual, warranty status, serial number and service notes are right there, mid-service.

In plain words

Every machine’s paperwork, stuck to the machine itself

Equipment Manager is a simple register of every machine in your restaurant — the ovens, fridges, dishwashers, coffee machines and tills. For each one you note what it is, where it stands, who made it, the model and serial number, who supplied it, when you bought it, how long the warranty runs, a link to the manual, and any service notes. Only the name is required; add the rest as you find it.

Each machine then gets its own QR label. Print it, stick it on, and the paperwork travels with the machine. When something breaks mid-service, a member of staff scans the label with their phone and the manual, warranty status, serial number and service history are right there — no hunting through a binder in the office while the queue grows.

Who it's for

Built for the people who actually use it

The kitchen

When the dishwasher stops mid-rush, scan the label. The manual and the serial number are on the screen before anyone has left the line.

Owners & managers

Purchase dates, suppliers and warranty dates in one place. Before you approve a repair bill, one look tells you whether it should cost you anything at all.

Whoever does the fixing

Model, serial number and the notes from the last visit are ready before you pick up the phone — so the service call starts with answers, not searching.

How it works

Up and running in three simple steps

01

Add each machine

Give it a name and, if you like, a category, location, serial number, supplier, purchase date, warranty date and a link to the manual. Only the name is required.

02

Print the QR label and stick it on

Every machine gets its own QR code. Print it on a label and put it where your staff can reach it.

03

Scan it when something acts up

Staff scan the label with a phone and, once signed in, see the manual, warranty status, serial number and service notes on the spot.

What's inside

Everything Equipment Manager gives you

One card per machine

Name, category, location, manufacturer, model, serial number, supplier and purchase date — everything about a machine on a single card.

Its own QR label

Every entry comes with a QR code that opens that machine’s card. Print it, stick it on, and the record is wherever the machine is.

Warranty dates on record

Store the warranty-until date when you register the machine. Check it before you approve a repair, so you never pay for one that was covered.

The manual, one tap away

Save a link to the manual or the maker’s documentation. It opens straight from the machine’s card — no drawer, no binder.

Service notes that stay put

Write down what was done and when. The next person who scans the label sees the whole story, not a second-hand version of it.

For your team only

Scanning a label shows the details to signed-in staff. A curious guest with a camera sees a login screen, not your serial numbers.

Why it pays off

Less hunting, fewer surprise repair bills

1 scan

From “it stopped working” to the manual, serial number and warranty status — mid-service.

0 binders

Manuals, serial numbers and warranty dates live on the machine’s card, not in a drawer.

0 kr

What a repair should cost while the warranty still covers it — the date is right there before you say yes.

Questions & answers

Frequently asked questions

What is the Equipment Manager?

It’s a register of every machine in your restaurant — ovens, fridges, dishwashers, tills. Each machine gets a card with its details and its own QR label. Stick the label on the machine, and scanning it shows the manual, warranty status, serial number and service notes.

How do the QR labels work?

When you add a machine, Restora creates a QR code that links to that machine’s card. Print it, stick it on the machine, and any phone camera can read it. Staff sign in and the details open right there.

What can I record for each machine?

Name, category (oven, fridge, POS and so on), where it stands, manufacturer, model, serial number, supplier, purchase date, warranty-until date, a link to the manual or documentation, and free-text service notes. Only the name is required.

Can it stop me paying for repairs that are under warranty?

It keeps the warranty-until date on the machine’s card, one scan away. It won’t ring you when a date approaches — but before you approve a repair bill, a quick look tells you whether the work should be covered.

Can I buy, lease or book repairs through it?

No. This is a registry for equipment you already own — it doesn’t sell machines, arrange leasing or book service visits. What it does is put the serial number, model and history in your hand when you make that call yourself.

Who sees the details when a label is scanned?

Only people signed in to your restaurant’s dashboard. If anyone else scans a label, they’re asked to log in first — your serial numbers and service history stay private.

What do I need to print the labels?

Nothing special. A small thermal label printer (58 or 80 mm — Brother QL, Zebra ZD or a generic one) works well, and adhesive label pockets keep the codes clean in a busy kitchen. A plain paper print-out in a pocket does the job too.

Do my staff need to install an app?

No. Equipment Manager runs in the browser. Staff scan a label with their phone camera, sign in, and the machine’s card opens — nothing to install or update.
